Football: Backup Quarterback CJ Harris is done for the season after 'recent medical emergency'

Ohio Quarterback CJ Harris appeared in a video on Ohio Football X, formerly known as Twitter, account late Monday afternoon to announce that he is out for the season after a “recent medical emergency.” In the statement, Harris stated that he was “advised to not play any more games this season and instead focus on recovering.”

Harris, who led Ohio to an Arizona Bowl game victory in the 2022-23 season, said “I’ll still be here with the team supporting in any way I possibly can to go get that MAC championship.”

Harris is currently a graduate student at Ohio and has played eight games at Ohio.
