The Union Bar, 18 W. Union St., is hosting a “hip-hop shop” night, capped off with performances by Young King Noah and theJackofHearts. Sign-ups for performances will start at 8 p.m. Anyone who wants to perform should bring a 15-minute set on a flash drive.

The Ohio Alumni Association is hosting a “pack the pantry” event at Konneker Alumni Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All donations will go to the Athens County Food Pantry and Cat’s Cupboard.

Vibrancy Theater is hosting its performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” from 8-9:30 p.m. at Elizabeth Evans Baker Theater in Kantner Hall. The production will reoccur at 8 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
