Bobcats studying at Alden Library can stop by room 319 for Focus with Friends from 5-7 p.m. Academic Coaches are available to provide support and build effective study habits. Bring assignments and a friend to focus with a group in a productive environment.

Luke Boyd is hosting a Holiday Cookie Decorating Event at Stuart’s Opera House on 52 Public Square in Nelsonville from 7-9 p.m. Participants 18 years and older can kick off the holiday season with a handmade treat. Admission accounts for all supplies, one cookie, icing and knives.
Admission: $35 for craft only, $40 including two beverages, $45 including craft, two beverages and a Stuart’s wine glass
Donkey Coffee is hosting its weekly Designated Space spoken word open stage event from 9-11 p.m. on 17 W. Washington St. Those interested in literature and writing can stop by to enjoy refreshments and poetry.

To prepare for exams, students can visit room 251 in Alden for board games and puzzles. This event is open to all students for as long as they wish to stay from 1-11p.m.. If unable to attend on Wednesday, students can drop in Thursday.

Ohio University Eastern campus students and residents in Belmont County can attend Oglebay Institute’s annual Youth Ballet production of “The Nutcracker.” The show begins at 7 p.m. at the Shannon Hall Theater on 45425 National Road.

The Dairy Barn Arts Center on 8000 Dairy Lane is hosting its annual Holiday Bazaar, featuring over 40 vendors, raffles and a cocoa bar. From 3-8 p.m., shoppers can stop by and browse a wide variety of items.

From 9 a.m. to noon, the weekly Athens Farmers Market is at the Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St. Shop for syrups, vegetables and pastries. SNAP/EBT is accepted.

The Athena Cinema is showing “The Muppet Christmas Carol" at 3 p.m. as part of its Holiday Film Series. All food and monetary donations brought to the event go to a local food charity.
Admission: A canned or non-perishable food donation. Monetary donations are also accepted.

Ohio University’s Women’s Basketball travels to play Radford University at 2 p.m. The game is streamed on ESPN.
