“The Love Hypothesis” releases on Amazon Prime. Based initially on a “Star Wars” fanfiction, the story follows two scientists as their fake romantic relationship blossoms into a real connection.
Thursday, Sept. 24
The hack-and-slash adventure game “Control Resonant” releases on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game is a sequel to 2019’s “Control,” and the next installment in the long-running Remedy-verse game franchise.
The action-adventure horror game “Silent Hill: Townfall” releases on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Friday, Sept. 25
Robert Pattinson and A24’s new drama, “Primetime,” releases in theaters. The film covers Chris Hansen’s show “To Catch a Predator” and the show’s eventual collapse.
“Heart of the Beast,” starring Brad Pitt, also releases in theaters.
Saturday, Sept. 26
For Ohio University family weekend, The Athena Cinema will show the comedy film “Clue” at 7 p.m. Based on the board game, the film focuses on a group of dinner party guests trying to figure out who killed the host with what weapon and where it happened.
Sunday, Sept. 27
DC Studios’ detective series “Lanterns” releases its seventh episode on HBO Max.
