The losing curse continues to plague the Bobcats as they lost their six consecutive game to the Bulls this past weekend in New York. And it is the same ole song and dance as it is for every previous game they have lost – they just can’t play an entire game.

“I am very disappointed in our team for not putting the two halves together,” said coach Semeka Randall. “Right now, we are the team that no one has to worry about because they go ‘the second half, that’s the team that runs out of energy’ and whatnot.”

With a nine point lead going into the locker room for the half, the team just could not contain the lead. And part of the trouble came from the Buffalo duo of Kourtney Brown and Nicki Hopkins.

The Bobcats worked hard to contain Brown, but as they did that, Hopkins dominated the arc with five 3-pointers, four of which came in the first half alone.

“She stretched us so far,” said Ohio guard Tenishia Benson. “We let her go off, and we can’t do that. We’ve had scouting reports and all that; we know what she can do.”

The Bobcats play Miami of Ohio this Wednesday as their last home game of the season. They most recently won against the RedHawks on the road 69-56.

“We only have one game left, and we really need to send a message,” Randall said. “You really have to get that mindset right now that you have to change who you are and go out there and win.”
