The Post Sports Blog is the place to go for all the updates, latest news and scores as the Ohio hockey team is in Delaware gunning for the American Collegiate Hockey Association National Championship. While they're at it, beat writers Rob Ogden and Bart Logan will also be playing some friendly pick 'em -- ACHA Tournament-style. Think The Post Staff Picks meets NCAA Tournament brackets. Round One. Ding!

#3 Ohio vs. #14 Canton

Rob Ogden: The depth of Ohio will be too much for the Kangaroos to handle. Ohio 4, Canton 1

Bart Logan: The 'Cats have been chomping at the bits to play on the Olympic-size ice at Fred Rust Arena. That'll translate to bad news for the Kangaroos (sorry couldn't help myself). Ohio 6, Canton 2

#6 Minot St vs. #11 Oakland

RO: Back-to-back wins over Davenport and Adrain have me liking the Grizzlies. Oakland 3, Minot State 2

BL: A good goaltender can take you pretty far in the playoffs and when he's on, Oakland's Alex Pikunas in downright unbeatable. Oakland 3, Minot State 1

#2 Davenport vs. #15 Rutgers

RO: Davenport is coming off two consecutive losses, but Rutgers will be no match for the No 2. Panthers. Davenport 5, Rutgers 1

BL: Davenport has six, -- SIX -- players with at least 20 goals and 50 points. The ice will run Scarlet with the blood of the Knights. Davenport 7, Rutgers 2

#7 Rhode Island vs. #10 Penn State

RO:These teams have met four times this season, with Rhode Island holding a 3-1 advantage. I Expect them to make it 4-1 after Saturday. Rhode Island 3, Penn State 2

BL: It would definitely qualify for a down year for the Icers. Still, coach Steve Balboni and his veteran squad have gotten hot down the stretch and have loads of big-game experience. Penn State 4, Rhode Island 2

#1 Lindenwood vs. # 16 Slippery Rock

RO: The Lions proved that they are human after the 4-0 defeat at the hands of Ohio in the CSCHL finals two weeks ago. However, Slippery Rock is no Ohio, and this isn't the CSCHL. Lindenwood 5, Slippery Rock 0.

BL: Lindenwood is too big, too strong, too fast, too skilled and too motivated to lose. This one will be ugly. Lindenwood 7, Slippery Rock 0

#8 Arizona State vs. #9 Oklahoma

RO: Since when do they play hockey in Oklahoma? Arizona State 2, Oklahoma 1

BL: It's a pretty darn long bus ride to Delaware for both of these teams. It's going to be an even longer ride back for the Sun Devils. Oklahoma 4, Arizona State 2

#5 Delaware vs. #12 Robert Morris

RO: Don't underestimate home-ice advantage. Delaware 4, Robert Morris 1.

BL: Robert Morris goaltender Dan Venet can steal games, but home crowds, big ice and a deep bench will benefit the Blue Hens. Delaware 3, Robert Morris 1

#4 Adrian vs. #13 Stony Brook

RO: Like Lindenwood, the Bulldogs are coming off a 4-0 defeat in their conference championship game. However they should rebound nicely in this one. Adrian 3, Stony Brook 0

BL: Former Bobcat Tom Ciaverilla is just one of a bundle of talented scorers for the GLCHL power house Bull Dogs. I wouldn't want to be Stony Brook. Adrian 4, Stoney Brook 1
