Freshman forward Brett Agnew scored three goals en route to a 6-2 Ohio win over Oakland Sunday morning.

Agnew started the scoring with a goal midway through the first period. Zach Tisdale and John Luciana had the assists.

Following an Oakland penalty, Agnew would strike again with a power play goal. Luciana also added a first period goal to bring the score to 3-0 heading into the first intermission.

Ohio outshot the Grizzlies 11-5 in the first period. However the second period would belong to Oakland.

An Oakland power play goal, followed up by another Grizzlies' goal with 11 minutes to play in the second period would bring the Oakland within a goal.

After two periods, Ohio led Oakland 3-2 and had outshot the Grizzlies 24-14.

But only 33 seconds into their third period, the Bobcats would add to their lead as Zach Barbis found Tyler Pilmore for the goal.

36 seconds later, Ohio again found the back of the net. This time it was Holzemer on the goal. Michael Schultz added the assist, his second of the day.

Agnew would add one more goal to complete the hat trick and secure the 6-2 win.

Ohio goaltender Blake MacNicol made 16 saves in the win.

The Bobcats advance to the semifinals where they will face the winner of the Davenport vs. Rhode Island game which is currently in progress.
