Ohio is set to play Toledo Tuesday in the first round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament.

The Bobcats (17-14, 9-7 MAC) earned the fifth seed in the tournament after losing to Miami Friday night 76-66. They will play the No. 12 Rockets  (4-26, 1-14 MAC) at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at the Convo.

The winner moves on to play No. 4 Ball State Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena.

In Ohio's first matchup against Toledo, the Bobcats defeated the Rockets 71-58. The Bobcats defeated Ball State 61-60 in their lone matchup.

Kent State earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament, followed by MAC West champion Western Michigan. Miami earned the No. 3 seed, while Ball State comes in at fourth. All four teams receive byes.

Last season, Ohio won the MAC Tournament after defeating Ball State, Kent State, Miami and Akron. Former Bobcat Armon Bassett was named MVP on the tournament.
