Once the hectic schedule of Saturday's event wore down,  coach Clay Calkins was able to break down the results from the day.

In the discus Emily Woods (who owns the top throw of the season)  and Andrea Madison placed second and third respectively.

"That was pretty solid for them," Calkins said.

In woman's long jump Alexis Geiger took third place.

" She pulled this jump out at the end, that was her last jump," Calkins said. " It was good to see Alexis come through--and coming back off an injury (lower leg) hopefully we can keep progressing."

In the pole vault Jamie Fisher garnered a lifetime personal record at the 10-foot mark.  Calkins said he was happy to see that performance.

Jaimie Cavinee had an identitcal jump but didn't get the same distinction.

"That's not a great jump for Cavinee," Calkins said. " Finishing second was okay."

In the last event of the soggy day, the 4X400 relay team closed out the meet with a first place finish.  Every leg of the race finished in under a minute.

"That is the best outdoor time here like the past nine years-- that's the best time that we've run since I've been here," Calkins said.

The winning time was three mintues 52 seconds.
