The job of any relief pitcher is the same: keep the opposing team from scoring.

This is something Ohio's bullpen has struggled with all season, and has become very evident during its five-game losing streak.

During the streak, Ohio's bullpen has allowed 13 runs, or nearly three runs a game.

In tonight's game against Eastern Kentucky, the Bobcats used four different relievers, all of which allowed at least one run.

When asked about his bullpen, coach Joe Carbone said there is nothing they can do other than continue to get better and work on throwing strikes.

In defense of the Bobcat relievers, late errors have led to unearned runs. In Sunday's game against Western Michigan, the Bobcats committed four errors, leading to five unearned runs.
