On the field, Tyler Tettleton wears jersey No. 4. During the Spring game, he is trying to prove he deserves designation as number one on the depth chart.

Tettleton completed eight of 12 passing attempts for 103 yards and a touchdown pass during the first half of Saturday's spring game. Tettleton found tight end Zac Clark for the 23-yard score.

Kyle Snyder, anchoring the second-team offense, was 4-for-8 through the air.

Neither Tettleton nor Snyder had much success on the ground. Ryan Boykin led all rushers with 19 yards on five carries. Running back Donte Harden is among a number of players who did not see time in the first half. LaVon Brazill and Noah Keller also did not play.

True freshman Landon Smith led all receivers with three catches for 53 yards. Former quarterback Derek Roback, who switched to tight end just more than a week ago, also had three receptions.
