After three innings of play, Ohio leads Central Michigan 4-2.

After winning 9-3 on Friday, the Chippewas took an early 1-0 lead on Saturday.

But the Bobcats immediately responded with a run of their own in the bottom half of the first. Ethan Newton led off the inning with a double and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of designated hitter Seth Streich.

Central Michigan again took the lead in the top-half of the second when a sacrifice bunt attempt led to a wild throw to first from pitcher Brent Choban.

The Bobcats tied the game in similar fashion. After consecutive base hits to lead off the second inning, Adam Gecewich's bunt attempt led to a throwing error and another Ohio run.

The Bobcats would score twice more to hold a 4-2 lead after three innings.
