Butler will face Virginia Commonwealth in the NCAA men's basketball national semifinal Saturday, but on the Bulldogs' campus, a different match involving the Bobcats will take place.

The Ohio soccer team will scrimmage Butler Saturday in Indianapolis just hours before the basketball team makes its second Final Four appearance in as many years.

The game is the first of eight for Ohio this spring. Six of the final seven will be played at Chessa Field in Athens. The schedule includes visits from Mid-American Conference rival Kent State and former MAC member Marshall. The other road game is against West Viriginia in Morgantown, W. Va.

Ohio also played Butler last spring about the same time as Butler's Final Four game.

"We played them about the same time last year, and their players were pretty distracted," coach Stacy Strauss said. "Hopefully, that happens again this year."

Ohio finished eighth in the MAC in 2010, compiling a 6-9-4 record. Toledo eliminated the Bobcats in the first round of the MAC Tournament.
