Redshirt sophomore Lexie Hartnett was named the Mid-American Conference defensive player of the week. It was her second time claiming the award this season.
In the first two games of the season, Hartnett has 13 blocks. She also leads the conference in blocks per set with 2.15.
For the entire season, Hartnett is second in the conference behind teammate Katie Post.
The Bobcats travel to Kent State and look to continue the flashes brilliance that they have shown so far.
