Ohio’s highly anticipated football game against the Temple Owls just got more exciting.

The game will mark the first time in Bobcat history a home game will be aired on ESPN. The game will kick off at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Midway through the season, Ohio and Temple have dominated the Mid-American Conference defensively. Both teams are at the top of most defensive categories, such as total defense and scoring defense. Overall, Temple has the edge in the MAC East though it has played one more conference game than the Ohio.

Last year, the Bobcats slid past the Owls by eight points in Philadelphia. With home-field advantage, Ohio plans to secure another win this year.

Ohio’s black jerseys will be on display on television screens across the nation in what should be a pivotal contest.
