Athens, Nelsonville-York and Trimble all qualified for the state high school playoffs.

After a win over Nelsonville-York completed a 10-0 season for Athens, the Bulldogs claimed the second seed in Region 12.

The Bulldogs will host 10-0 Jackson in the first round of the playoffs at Basil Rutter Field.

Despite the week-ten loss, Nelsonville-York held on to a first-round home game in the opening round of the playoffs.

The fourth-seeded Buckeyes will host 9-1 Portsmouth West in the first round of the playoffs.

A 32-0 win over Federal Hocking in week 10 allowed the Tomcats to grab the final spot in Region 23.

The 7-3 Tomcats will travel to Willow Wood to face top-seeded Symmes Valley. This is the second consecutive season Trimble will enter the postseason as the eighth-seeded team.

Despite a week-ten win, Alexander finished 15th in the region and did not qualify for the playoffs.
