Ohio ranked third in the first American Collegiate Hockey League computer rankings of the 2011-12 season, released last week.
The computerized rankings, an average of two separate polls compiled by the website United States High School Hockey Online, are compiled independently of the ACHA but can be uses to assist in the national rankings process along with the coaches' poll.
The Bobcats (6-3-0) finished third in both computer polls, coming in behind leaders Penn State, who Ohio dropped two games to last weekend, and second-placed LIberty University. Ohio has also placed third in the first two ACHA coaches' polls so far this season.
Both of Ohio's opponents this weekend also placed in the top-25 of the computer poll, with Davenport coming in at 14th and Oakland at 21st.
