Ohio remained in the third spot in the second American Collegiate Hockey Association rankings of the season, released on Friday, picking up its first first-place vote of the season after a 3-0-0 start.

Stony Brook, Oklahoma and Delaware, the three teams Ohio will face this weekend at the ACHA Division 1 showcase, placed in the poll, coming in at 17th, 8th and 6th, respectively.

Lindenwood took over the top spot from Davenport, who dropped down to second. West Virginia, the team Ohio beat in all three of its games so far, dropped out of the top-25 after being ranked 23rd in the preason poll.

In all Ohio will face six of the top-11 teams in the poll over the remainder of fall quarter. In addition to Delaware and Oklahoma this weekend, the Bobcats will also take on Penn State (Oct. 21 and 22), Davenport (Oct. 28 and 29), Oakland (Oct. 30) and Iowa State (Nov. 18 and 19), with all those games except the final two taking place on the road.
