Ohio remained in the third spot in the season's second set of American Collegiate Hockey League rankings, released on Friday.

The Bobcats garnered 911 points in the poll, including four first-place votes, after a 6-1-0 start to the season.

Penn State, Ohio's opponents this weekend, took the top spot in the rankings for the first time since 2007 on the back of a 3-0-0 start.

Davenport fell from the top spot all the way down to sixth after a 1-2-0 start to its season. The Bobcats will take on Davenport, the defending national champions, for two games in Grand Rapids next Friday and Saturday before heading to 16th-ranked Oakland for a single game Sunday.
