According to a release from Public Policy Polling, Cleveland teams reign king among professional sports teams in Ohio.
Of the voters polled, 34 percent identified the Cleveland Indians as their favorite professional baseball team.
The Cincinnati Reds were the second team of choice, garnering 25 percent of the vote.
The Detroit Tigers are the most liked out-of-state team with eight percent, followed by the Boston Red Sox with five percent, the Chicago Cubs with four percent, the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates with three percent each, and the Atlanta Braves with two percent of the vote.
Among NFL teams, the Cleveland Browns led all teams in votes with 34 percent.
The Cincinnati Bengals followed with 20 percent of the vote.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were the first non-Ohio team listed with 12 percent of the vote. The Detroit Lions (5%), Dallas Cowboys (4%), Green Bay Packers (3%), Indianapolis Colts (2%) and New England Patriots (1%) were also listed.
