The Bobcat Blackout has gone well so far. A little too well, at least for those who were planning on spending the day selling special Bobcat shirts.
Originally, 1,500 Bobcat Blackout longsleeve t-shirts were purchased for sale. After an additional emergency pickup of 250 more, vendors are down to a supply of 100, which will be sold outside of Peden Stadium at 5:00 tonight.
Those selling the shirts commented that they thought "at least the student side should be blacked out well" and that those who do not have the opportunity to purchase a shirt should still plan on decking themselves out in black Bobcat gear.
