Ohio Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Tom Symonds confirmed today that Ohio will be the away team, and will wear all-white uniforms at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Dec. 17.

This news ends any speculation that the Bobcats would wear their new black uniforms during the bowl.

The home team was chosen not by record, but was predetermined to be the team from the Western Athletic Conference, Symonds said.

Ohio is 0-4 all-time as the away team in bowl games.

The Ohio football equipment staff tweeted the above picture earlier today, showing the uniforms being prepared to have the official bowl patches added.

Prior to the season, Boise State was banned by the Mountain West Conference from wearing all-blue uniforms on its home turf during conference games.

Utah State has a set of all-blues, it is unknown if those are the jerseys that will be worn by the Aggies.
