More than halfway through its Central States Collegiate Hockey League schedule Ohio sits in second place in the conference standings with 20 points, just two points behind league leading Lindenwood.

The Bobcats are 7-1 against league competition after sweeping Illinois this past weekend, with their lone loss coming at the hands of Indiana back on Nov. 11. Lindenwood is a perfect 8-0, having swept Illinois, Iowa State, Indiana and Robert Morris, and stand at 22 points.

The two leaders are far ahead of the third-placed Fighting Illini, who stand at just 3-5. Robert Morris sits in fourth position but have four games in hand over the three teams above them.

The Bobcats will travel to Chicago this weekend to take on the Eagles for two crucial matchups that should help sharpen the vision of the regular season championship.
