Ohio freshman diver Haleigh Bartlett has been named the Mid-American Conference Diver of the Week after her performance against Denison qualified her for the 1- and 3- meter dives at the NCAA Zone Championships.
Against Denison, Bartlett placed first in the 1- and 3-meter diving divisions. She has already etched her name in the record books with her 3-meter score ranking the second-best in Ohio history and her 1-meter score ranking third all-time.
Along with her strong performance in the pool, she has been just as impressive in the classroom, posting a 3. 54 grade-point-average.
Four Ohio divers have qualified to compete in the NCAA Diving Zones, but Bartlett is the only one to qualify in both the 1- and 3-meter categories.
