Michigan assistant basketball coach Bacari Alexander used Twitter to show that not every Michigan coach disregards the Bobcats.
"When I hear OHIO, i do really think of the Bobcats first. #justsayin #respect," Alexander tweeted on Sunday.
The tweet came a day after Michigan upset No. 6 Ohio State on Saturday.
Alexander spent one year as an assistant coach at Ohio during the 2007-2008 season under former Bobcat head coach Tim O'Shea.
Alexander also made a stop a Western Michigan before accepting his current position.
Michigan head basketball coach John Beilein aggravated Bobcats and Buckeyes alike when he began to refer to Ohio State as "Ohio" following a loss to the Buckeyes last month.
"I love the Bobcats and Bobcat Nation aka ATTACK U! Had a fun time in Athens where the people are marvelous," Alexander said also via Twitter.
