Senior guard Tenishia Benson took home the Mid-American Conference's East Division Player of the Week award Monday.
Benson led the Bobcats to a stunning upset of MAC leader Bowling Green Wednesday night and also paced Ohio in a setback against last-place Buffalo this weekend. She tallied 37 points between the two games.
Benson made 13 of her 21 field goal attempts last week and also hit 11 of 14 shots from the free-throw line. She had nine rebounds in each game.
Ohio wraps up the regular season Tuesday night at Miami.
