Although the ice in Bird Arena was melted for the summer earlier this month, a trio of Ohio icers

hauled in postseason accolades Tuesday.

Top-line Bobcat forwards Michael Schultz and Tyler Pilmore

and defenseman Zach Barbis

added American Collegiate Hockey Association All-American honors to their resumes following stand-out seasons.

Schultz, the Bobcats' captain, led the group with a first-team nod, while Pilmore

garnished second-team honors and Barbis

was named to the third roster.

The captain ended his Ohio career as the second-leading point-getter in team history and had 31 goals in his senior campaign.

Pilmore

, the only honoree to return for the Bobcats next season, racked up a team-high 36 assists in 2011-12 and chipped in a hearty 17 goals.

Barbis

was also an offensive contributor from the point for the Bobcats, as he contributed 36 points on the year.
