First Half
At the break, Ohio leads 35-31, despite coming into the game as underdogs.
The Falcons jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, and lead 12-3 heading into the first media timeout. For the first ten minutes of the game, Ohio's only points came off of three-point field goals.
But the Bobcats fought back, and a floater from sophomore guard Kiyanna Black with 5:32 left in the half put Ohio up 25-23. The Bobcats had a 21-8 run going into the final media timeout.
As the first half closed, the Bobcats forced the Falcons to turn the ball over. With three seconds left, freshman guard Yamonie Jenkins forced a charge, which helped Ohio keep the lead at four.

Second Half
Once again, Ohio goes into the break with a lead and couldn't hold on, as they loss 78-62.
Ohio expanded their lead to 51-45 at the first media timeout with 14:28 to play. Bowling Green ran into some trouble with their forward Erica Donovan picking up three fouls and Alexis Rogers taking a break after injuring her face during a rebound.
The tension was getting to Bowling Green, and coach Jennifer Roos stormed the court in anger after a backcourt violation was called on the Falcons with 9:58 left. But with 8:08 to play, a trifecta for Bowling Green tied the contest up at 58-58.
As the half began winding down, Ohio's shots weren't falling, and Bowling Green went on a 9-2 run. With 5:17 to play, Lampkins fouled out for the Bobcats.
The shots continued to rim out for Ohio, and they lost 78-62.
