With four first place finishes this weekend, including a time of 55.64 in the 100-yard backstroke event against Miami, sophomore Addison Ferguson was awarded Women's Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week.
Ferguson helped pace Ohio in it's double header against Xavier and Miami last weekend, as the sophomore assisted in the team's first place finish inside the 200-yard medley relay at Xavier.
Head coach Derick Roe said earlier the week Ferguson was battling illness leading up to the two meets, as Ohio beat out Xavier 127-74 and lost to Miami 186-111.
Upnext, Ferguson and the Bobcat's will head to SPIRE Institute for the 2014 MAC Championship on Feb. 27.
