Ohio's record dropped to 4-17 tonight after falling 11-4 to Youngstown State. Jake Miller got the loss for the Bobcats after starting on the mound and allowing three runs in four innings pitched.

The Bobcats' only lead of the game was a 1-0 nothing advantage obtained in the second inning via an error on the Penguins' SS. Youngstown State added four runs in the fifth inning, two in the sixth, four in the eighth and one in the ninth to run away with the game.

Mitch Longo logged three hits including a double for Ohio, while Tyler Wells, Taylor Emody, Jake Madsen and Garrett Black each came through with two hit performances. Madsen had a pair of RBI's for the Bobcats, while Black also had an RBI.

Jake Miller finished with a line of 4 IP, 3 ER, 3 R, 2 H, 4 BB, 3 K. A total of five Bobcats pitched the remaining five innings.

Jason Shirley was the star of the game for Youngstown State, stringing together three hits and three RBI's while also scoring two runs.

Ohio out-hit the Penguins 12-11, but also committed three errors to the Penguins' one.
