For the seventh time in 20 scheduled games, Ohio is unable to play because of weather.

Ohio was set to face Marshall on Wednesday, which would have been the Bobcats' home opener, but the game has been cancelled because of rain and will not be rescheduled. The Bobcats are scheduled to play the Thundering Herd again on April 9th in Hunnington, W.Va.

After reaching tempatures of 75 degrees on Tuesday, Wednesday's forcast is filled with rain and snow.

Bobcat players commented on the weather at practice on Tuesday and said that there isn't anything that they can do to control the bad luck that they have received with weather this season.

Outfielders Mitch Longo, a freshman, and Tyler Wells, a junior, said that the team has gotten their best workouts in on days where their games have been cancelled or postponed.

The Bobcats are scheduled to play a four-game weekend series at home against St. Bonaventure this weekend, which will now serve as the team's home openers. The first game will be Friday, a day which is forcasted for a zero percent chance of rain.
