The fourth annual Stake Jam took place Saturday at the Athens Skate Park. The annual fundraising event brought crowds and live music to the park with an added thrill of competitions and high energy.

Members of the Marching 110 performed during the involvement fair on College Green Aug. 25, 2024. The band played serval different songs and performed multiple dances to a large number of people and students gathered.

Athens residents and other event goers participate in the 2024 Athens Marathon. Said to be Ohio’s longest running marathon, the course starts in uptown Athens before following along and passing by College Green, the Hockhocking-Adena Bikeway, and then finishing on the track at Pruitt Field.

On March 5, 2024, Ohio University faculty rallied for a union at Ohio University, United Academics of Ohio University, on College Green. Faculty from all Ohio University campuses came together to share their experiences and voice their opinions on why a union is needed for Ohio University faculty. The rally ended with the group members delivering a letter of unionization at the President's office.
