Soichi Tanda, associate professor of biology, speaks to students and faculty after receiving the University Professor Award, which is chosen by students. Those who receive the award can teach a class on whichever topic he or she chooses. Tanda chose to teach a class called "Biotechnologies in our Society: Do you Approve or Disapprove?"
