Welcome back to the BedPost!
The beginning of the year means new Bobcats, new digs and a brand new BedPost. Though you might remember me from last semester, who doesn’t love talking about themselves?
My name is Kristin and I will be your guide to all things sex and love this year. Well, actually, I’ll be one of them — but we’ll get to that in a second. I am here to answer all of your questions about the workings of your heart … or your loins … in this lovely little column.
What is new about this column, however, is that someone else will be there as well. That’s right, you’re getting two BedPosties for the price of one. But, I’ll let him explain.
My name’s Ian, I am a junior here at Ohio University and I am now half of the BedPost column.
This is going to be an interesting adventure for the both of us. Although I haven’t exactly written about sex before, I have spent time as a reporter, copy editor and assistant copy chief for The Post and have been told (by my mom and others) that I write some pretty high-quality stuff. Plus, I’m not squeamish when it comes to talking about sex and the myriad activities, feelings and complications that accompany it.
I’m also not much for judgment. Write in about whatever’s on your mind in regards to your sexual and relationship lives, no matter how strange or taboo you all might think it is; Kristin and I will take your queries seriously and give you the best advice we can.
So buckle up and hold your family close by the fireside because I’ll be guiding you along in the most intimate parts of your lives. I’ll do my best over this year to replace that feeling of terror you just got from the last sentence with one of being cared about.
Because I’m in this for the people. For you people.
