Ohio University students' siblings will get the opportunity to explore college life this weekend through various events and activities as Sibs Weekend comes again.
Sporting events include a swim meet against MAC rivals at the Aquatic Center today at 5 p.m. and men's wrestling against Cleveland State at The Convo at 7 p.m. The men's basketball team will take on Central Michigan on Saturday at
1 p.m. at The Convo as well.
Some students said they are excited to spend time with their siblings and show them what there is to do in Athens as the weekend approaches.
I plan on finding my sister a male sibling that she can spend some time with
said sophomore Lynn Corson.
Baker University Center also will be an entertainment spot for guests this weekend. The Front Room will hold Open Stage today at 8 p.m. where sibs can show their talent and drink a cup of coffee. Downstairs in the Rec Room, Game Night will include free pool, ping-pong, foosball and board games. Free food and soda also will be provided.
I'm planning on taking my little brother to the men's basketball game and playing some PlayStation with him said freshman Sara Jeffers.
Residence Life will hold Retro Bingo in Boyd Dining Hall tonight from 9 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Sibs' Carnival and Casino in Jefferson Library on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Bird Arena will hold Late Night Skate tonight and Saturday from
