I have known Chris Chmiel for many years. He is more than just an honest, hardworking person of good character who would like to serve the citizens of Athens County as a commissioner.
He is a unique combination of successful farmer, accomplished entrepreneur, innovative businessman, attentive listener, enthusiastic volunteer, humble community leader, caring and thoughtful environmentalist, and dependable fun-loving husband, father and friend.
Chris has a natural curiosity, is deliberate about solving problems of the day and has a creative vision that will help in preparing for our future. He is a man with no ax to grind, no chip on his shoulder, and, from my experience, he does everything with a smile on his face.
