Graduate Student Senate will discuss a budget resolution and a resolution regarding the appointment of executive officers at their Tuesday night meeting.
The meeting will open with a presentation from Vice President and Provost Chaden Djalali.
President of Graduate Student Senate Maria Modayil said Djalali’s presentation will explain how he pictures the functions and goals of Graduate Student Senate in the future.
Graduate Student Senate will also vote on three resolutions at the meeting.
Members will vote to amend their constitution to state that elected executive officers will be selected annually by the graduate student body.
Another resolution involves a budget resolution for about $775 to the Women’s Graduate School Day Conference.
Elections for Graduate Student Senate took place last Friday, and the new member of the board will be announced at the meeting.
The new board will not take over until the last meeting on April 30, Modayil said.
