Undergraduate students are invited to the Baker University Center Ballroom, located at 1 Park Place, to learn more about majors, minors and certificates at the Majors Fair. Beginning at 11 a.m., the event allows students to meet faculty, advisors and others involved in similar interests.

Ohio University’s Concerts on the Green series continues on the College Green West Portico from 6 p.m to 7 p.m. The event is open to all.

The Chaddow + Morrow College of Fine Arts presents an OU band and symphony performance in the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium at 8 p.m. The performance is also streamed on YouTube.

Ohio’s Chillicothe campus hosts Dog Days of Summer in the Bennett Hall Student Lounge, located at 101 University Dr. Beginning at 10 a.m., there are free hot dogs for attendees. The event supports the Humane Society through treat making and other crafts.

Ohio Eastern hosts Fall Fest behind Shannon Hall, located at 45425 National Rd. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is food from Chipotle, a prize wheel and giveaways for all Eastern campus students.

Ohio Housing and Residence Life hosts another installment of Battle of the Greens, a showcase of music with a competitive twist. Beginning at 7 p.m. at the Living Learning Center Oval, located at 11 S. Green Dr., the event is open to all.

Weekly Marti & Stewie craft night is hosted in the West 82 Food Court in Baker Center. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. Arrive by 9 p.m. to ensure enough time to complete the chosen project.

Friday, Sept. 25
In celebration of OU Family Weekend, Campus Recreation hosts open golf at the Golf and Tennis Center, located at 106 S. Green Dr. Beginning at 7 a.m., golf is available until 9 p.m. throughout the weekend. People can call the center or book online to reserve a tee time.

Bobcat families can join the Dean of Students Office for Bobcat Family Welcome at 6 p.m. on College Green. There are complimentary refreshments.

The Art Expo makes a return, hosting the first of three events at the Living Learning Center at 6 p.m. to showcase student creativity of all mediums. The theme of the first installment is adventure, exploring the unknown through emotional and physical exploration or discovery.

The Athena Cinema, located at 20 S. Court St., presents “Clue” at 7 p.m. in celebration of Family Weekend. There is a second showing on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online.

Saturday, Sept. 26
Campus and Recreation hosts open pickleball on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Golf and Tennis Center, no reservation is needed.

The OU Center for Student Engagement and Leadership collaborates with Culinary Services and the Dean of Students office to present Family Weekend Tie Dye and Tailgate. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Ping Center Lawn, all Bobcats and families are invited.

Ohio football faces the Stonehill Skyhawks at 3:30 p.m. in Peden Stadium, located at 100 Richland Ave. The theme for the game is white-out and tickets can be reserved online.

Grammy award-winning artist Ashley McBryde visits Memorial Auditorium at 8 p.m. for her Into the Wild Tour with special guest Colton Bowlin. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online.

Campus Recreation hosts Rec Skate for Family Weekend at Bird Arena, located at 23 Oxbow Trail, from 2:30-4 p.m. The skate is open to all.
Admission: $7 for ages 16 and up, $5 for ages 15 and under, skate rentals are $5
