The Ohio hockey team has an unusual challenge to overcome when it travels to play Delaware this weekend.
After playing four consecutive weekends at home, Ohio coach ¥Dan Morris ¥said the road trip will be good for the team.
We have to get used to the road
Morris said. With tournament time coming up it's going to be good for us to play in a different place.
The Bobcats (18-7-2), currently ranked No.2 in the American Collegiate Hockey Association, already have earned a first round bye in the Central States Collegiate Hockey League tournament.
Regardless of the first round bye however, the Bobcats must play games at both Iowa State and Eastern Michigan in the respective tournaments.
We have to be prepared for different venues Morris said. And it will be different playing outside of Bird Arena
but we did a great job the last time we played on the road (two wins at Michigan-Dearborn).
