The resolution '-
but a flawed process is better than no process Diehl said, adding that the senate has only been included in the evaluation process for two years and that the Board of Trustees could revert back to not asking for input.
A transparent evaluation process would help senate better understand what the Board of Trustees consider during their evaluations and also assure that senate input is being heard, Diehl said.
We are investors of Ohio University we pump millions of dollars into this university
said Will Wemer, treasurer and a sponsor of the resolution. As students of a public institution we have a right to know where this university is headed.
A sponsor of Graduate Student Senate's resolution expressed doubts about the resolution passed by Student Senate, specifically the decision to not include a potential boycott.
I think on some level
to continue to participate in the process is saying it's functional
said Drew Pusateri, senator for the College of Education. While you're not happy with (the process)
it works.
Diehl said he felt it would be counterproductive for the Board of Trustees not to discuss the matter. It's so much better for them if we can better understand what they're thinking and where they're coming from.
