Ohio University's University Program Council will ring in the holiday season early this year with a peppermint-themed blowout.
Until 3 p.m. today on the third floor of Baker University Center, UPC will present Peppermint-Palooza.
Students can "enjoy a smorgasbord of minty delight" at UPC's "version of Candy Land's Peppermint Forest," according to UPC's website.
There will be free hot chocolate with peppermint stirrers, punch, Red Hots, peppermints, pear and apple slices, York Peppermint Patties, pizza, pretzel sticks covered with white chocolate and peppermint bits, and gingerbread cookies at the event.
Students who attend can also participate in limbo games and mint tosses, according to the UPC website.
