Senequa Barnes, the woman accused of the stabbing at Pawpurrs Aug. 20, was arraigned Wednesday in Athens County Common Pleas Court.
Judge Michael Ward set the re-trial date as March 7 and the trial date as March 15.
Barnes is accused of felonious assault and intimidation of a witness. She was arrested on suspicion of stabbing Pawpurrs employee Michael Nelson in the throat after Nelson and others tried to remove her from the bar, citing rowdy behavior.
When searched by the Athens Police officers the night of the incident, Barnes was found with a butterfly knife, a silver pocket knife, a locking blade knife, a pipe with marijuana residue and an expended Taser cartridge, according to court record.
Nelson only suffered a minor wound, according to the record.
Barnes is prohibited from all bars in the county and from being around the staff at Pawpurrs who witnessed her arrest, Ward said.
