Incident report

A couple driving along West State Street at 2:30 a.m. Friday reported a snowball was thrown at their vehicle, breaking their windshield, according to an Athens Police Department report. The couple was not injured in this incident. Athens Police officials found several subjects on South Court Street acting violently toward one another around 2 a.m. Friday. According to an APD report, the subjects were attempting to start fights. Two males were injured, one of who required medical attention. The case is still under investigation. Employees of the Athens Post Office, 5 W. Stimson Ave., reported the back door had been purposefully blocked by snow on Friday, according to an Athens Police report. An Ohio University student reported his car tires were slashed sometime between 4 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday. OU police officers found the front driver's-side tire and both of the passenger-side tires had been cut, according to an OUPD report. The department has no suspects or witnesses at this time. OU police officers found a broken window on Building 16 at The Ridges early Friday morning. According to OUPD reports, the lower right pane of the window located near the exterior side entrance door was broken, and police officers have no witnesses or suspects in this case.
