These efforts by the FDA to ban synthetic dyes have sparred a new awareness of artificially created chemical compounds that are doing more harm than good by just adding color.
On March 22, 2024, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, announced that she was undergoing chemotherapy for an undisclosed type of cancer. The 42-year-old princess underwent abdominal surgery two months before the diagnosis, where it was discovered in post-op that cancer was found.

The second annual Pedal for Pink event put on by the Ohio Pink Ribbon Fund was held Saturday, October 12th. The community came together to raise money and awareness for breast cancer and the importance of early detection. We also hear from survivors about how special this event is to them. The "Brake for Breakfast" event takes place on the first Wednesday of October every year. This is the event's fourth year in Athens, and they've had major success. They offer a free breakfast, free informational packets about cancer and they even offer mammograms on site. The event draws hundreds of volunteers wanting to make a difference and nearly 1,000 cars drive through.
It is officially October, recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Since 1985, Breast Cancer Awareness Month has highlighted how common breast cancer is and ways it can be detected early.
Under the warm Jamaican sun, surrounded by crystal waters, beautiful flowers, family and friends, Jason Preston and Micaylah Preston exchanged their vows in paradise. Though they officially said “I do” July 20, the Prestons’ love story began just over 4 years ago in the heart of Athens.
