Coming off a win at Buffalo on Saturday, Ohio was looking to keep its offensive firepower against Western Michigan. The Bobcats relied heavily on the 3-pointers in the first half, hitting eight of 18 attempts, led by senior guard Ajay Sheldon, who made three. Sheldon has had a rough go of it this year from deep, but it hasn’t shaken his confidence on any given night.

“My favorite local band is The Lounge Club,” Liv Jacobs, a freshman studying journalism, said. “I've known the bass guitar player for a while and attended almost all of the performances it had on campus. From the Battle of the Greens to playing an opening set at Donkey Coffee, it has a great stage presence and really knows how to draw in an audience. It plays mainly indie music, performing mostly covers of artists like Pink Floyd and The Backseat Lovers, but has a couple of original songs as well.”

In its second-to-last road trip, Ohio took on the Niagara University Purple Eagles (19-5). This was an important matchup for the rankings as the Nationals approached. Ohio (23-5) was ranked No. 2 while Niagara was No. 4. Unfortunately, while the Bobcats had swept the Eagles in December, they fell in both games this weekend.
