As of 2020, around 80% of Americans lived in what could be categorized as an “urban” area, according to the Census Bureau. To be classified as urban, a city must have either a population over 5,000 or a “minimum housing unit threshold of 2,000 housing units.”
No genre of music is as synonymous with a particular geographic region as bluegrass is with Appalachia. Stemming from the folk music of Irish and Scottish settlers in the region mixed with African traditions brought by formerly enslaved people, bluegrass focuses on acoustic instruments such as the banjo and fiddle with an emphasis on musical dexterity.
I am a person of many interests, including photography, film and music, but one has persisted and grown incredibly in the past five years: cycling. Even in a cramped dorm room with a roommate, I still manage to keep my bike right underneath my bed, so I can grab it at a moment's notice.
Correction appended: A previous version of this article falsely stated Lily Ekimian Ragheb is Arab-American rather than Russian-American. Additionally, the couple’s birthplaces have been clarified.

While this is obviously not true, as every musical genre has variation; country music does tend to follow a pattern of white guys talking about trucks, beer, dirt roads etc.

I would say I am a pretty outdoorsy person. I worked in a bike shop in a national park for two years, I am an outdoor recreation minor and I spend more time outside than I do in. But a big part of what allows me to pursue this passion is access. Presenting as an able-bodied white man and coming from a middle-class upbringing has made me the archetype of outdoor marketing. But for many, that access to the outdoors is not there.

I’m not much of a TV watcher. It usually ends up being more time and energy consuming than a film for me, and I just do not have that kind of time. However, there’s one show that was able to draw me in enough to watch every single episode: “Letterkenny.” It is the only series to do so, giving it high marks in my book. So, in the wise words of the protagonist, Wayne, “pitter patter, let’s get at ‘er.”

The general rule of thumb when cycling is commonly referred to as the ABCs of biking: air, brakes and chain. The idea is to ensure before every ride these three bike components are working properly to not cause issues while riding. Although these rules are important, some may want to dig deeper into the mechanics of the bicycle.
Having worked in a bike shop for the better part of two years, I saw firsthand one of the most divisive topics in the cycling world: e-bikes. Being at a shop that rented and sold e-bikes, or electric bikes, I learned about the spectrum of opinions on them, being good, bad or some mix of both.
