At the end of her break Brie Boothloy goes to her journalism discussion that is a part of J1010, or The Future of Media. The discussion class is much smaller, with about 30 students, than the lecture, which has about 200 journalism students.

Normally Brie Boothloy would not be able to get lunch until after her learning community class, but on this Thursday the class was canceled so she was able to meet up with a few friends at Shively Dining Hall.

Colton Allen’s last class is Marching 110 practice. Due to the game the following Tuesday, the band wore its polos and practiced at Peden Stadium. It was the band’s last marching practice, according to Field Commander Dylan Chase’s speech that he gave the band at the beginning of practice.

Between 11:50 a.m. and 3 p.m. Colton Allen can be found in Glidden Hall where he starts in jazz, then goes to trombone choir and ends in symphonic band. He plays bass trombone in all three of the music classes.

After his 3:05 p.m. class and before band practice at 5:15 p.m., Colton Allen has a little bit of free time. On this Monday, Allen was found running at Pruitt Field, which has a 400-meter track. Allen ran cross country and track in high school. He said he wishes he could run more.
