After the game, many fans may noticed many of the Bobcats standing right behind John Hauser to support the first-time head coach, with many lobbying for his new position to be permanent. The program agreed and has officially dropped the interim tag, naming Hauser its new head coach moving forward.

Men’s Basketball: Jackson Paveletzke takes over to upset St. Bonaventure

Ohio (4-6 overall) went into the locker room at halftime with a slim 34-32 advantage over St. Bonaventure (10-2 overall). The scoring was spread throughout the Bobcats' roster, but someone seemed to be oddly quiet on the stat sheet, and that was no other than their leading scorer for the season, senior guard Jackson Paveletzke, who had just four points on three shot attempts.

Men’s Basketball: Ohio wins in overtime against St. Bonaventure

Ohio (4-6 overall) knocked off 10-1 St. Bonaventure in the Cleveland Hoops Showdown in Rocket Arena in overtime. It was a back-and-forth bout all night for the Bobcats and Bonnies, and Ohio came out on top after a spectacular performance from Jackson Paveletzke.
