Happy finals week! Take a break from studying or procrastinate a little by reading my last column for The Post. I have been in Argentina for almost three months now, and I have learned so much. I am so elated that I have had the opportunity to study abroad. For my final column, I would like to talk about why you should study abroad. I talked to my friends at a cafe about what happens when you study abroad and gathered these answers.

Happy pre-finals week. I’m sure you’re excited to start summer. In Argentina, I am on week seven of the semester — not even halfway done, but I’m glad I have more time. There’s still so many things to do! I just got back from a weekend trip to Mendoza, which was amazing.

Bienvenidos! Thanks for checking out my column this week. I’ve been in Buenos Aires for more than two months now, and I’m happy I still have at least two more months left. I recently made a bucket list of activities to do and places to go before I leave Argentina, and I am eager to cross each one off the list. Weekends are always jam-packed with different museums, churches and festivals. And night-life options are endless. Concerts, dance nights, pub crawls, secret bars—the options available on a Friday night are overwhelming. It’s a sharp contrast to Athens in which you tend to go to the same places on the weekend and your night always ends at O’Betty’s or Big Mamma’s. Although I love Athens and find myself craving a Mata Hari from O’Betty’s, I appreciate the wide range of activities a large city has available.

Hola, chicos! Thanks for checking in to see how my Argentina experience is going. My classes are going well, and my Spanish is improving immensely. I am trying to use it as much as possible, although I still speak in English with other students from the United States.

Buenos días, everybody! I hope you’re enjoying fest season and that your spring semester is going well. I recently started my semester classes, and I am learning a lot already. My classes and my schedule are different at Universidad de Belgrano than they were at Ohio University.

Hola, amigos! Thanks for reading about my experience in Buenos Aires. I love the city so much and have been having fun, but I came down with bronchitis, which has put a bit of a damper on things. I’ve had a bad cough for about three months since right after fall semester at Ohio University ended. I thought it was getting better until my throat started hurting, and I even started seeing blood in my spit. But don’t cry for me, Argentina, because I recently went to the emergency room and experienced the perfection of what is Argentina’s health care system.

Hola, chicos! Today I’m going to talk about ranches, meat and how you can have too much of a good thing. Argentina is famous for its steak, and there’s no doubt why. Beef is exquisite here — flavorful, juicy and cheap. Anyone who knows me knows that I love to eat, especially meat. That was one of the several reasons I decided to study abroad in Argentina. Recently, however, I’ve started doubting my devotion to the food.

¡Bienvenidos! I’ve had the most eventful two weeks in Argentina. When many people hear Patagonia, they might think about the outdoorsy jacket in their closet, but trust me, it’s so much more than a clothing brand. Patagonia is this entire region in the south of Argentina and Chile scattered with gigantic mountains, lakes and glaciers.

¡Hola, muchachos! I never thought I would live in a city where chicken McNuggets and fries from McDonald's cost more than a meal at a nice restaurant. But luckily, here I am in Buenos Aires.

¡Hola, muchachos! This week I’d like to talk about speaking Spanish. I bet you didn’t see that coming with my being in a Spanish-speaking country and all. Right now, I’m taking a month-long class of intensive Spanish, in which I sit in a classroom for five hours and speak nothing but Spanish (our professor yells at us if we try to speak in English).

Hola, amigos! Thanks for reading my column this week! Everything is going extremely well here in Argentina. I am starting to feel more at home each day, and every day seems more exciting than the next.

Hola, muchachos! I’m now on my fourth day in Buenos Aires, and so far it’s been wild. The city is linda (beautiful). Buenos Aires is the cleanest city I have been to. Huge trees line the streets on both sides, shading the roads to form a kind of urban jungle. Cafes, or what Argentines like to call fecas, sit at almost every corner. Graffiti is very popular here, so I’ve seen some beautiful street art. Every day has been sunny and in the 90s so far, which is a nice change from Ohio.

¡Bienvenido (Welcome)! I have one more day until I leave for Buenos Aires. I leave from the Columbus airport to Houston, where I will have a five-hour layover until embarking to Argentina. The trip is becoming more real to me as it gets closer and as I say goodbye to friends or relatives.

Abhilash Raichur remembers celebrating Diwali as a child by watching fireworks and setting off firecrackers while spending time with neighbors on the streets. This year, Raichur celebrated Diwali with Ohio University students and Athens residents.
