A veggie tale

A vegetable is an edible plant or part of a plant. However, the word is not scientific, and its meaning is largely based on culinary and cultural tradition. Therefore the application of the word is somewhat arbitrary and subjective. For example, some people consider mushrooms to be vegetables, while others consider them a separate food category. Some vegetables can be consumed raw, and some may (or must) be cooked in various ways.

We, like many students on this campus, found ourselves captivated by the coverage of the Kulchar rape case. We, like many, read The Post diligently, looking for news. Following the end of the trial, we have found ourselves extremely disappointed with the quality of coverage of the trial.

For various media, winter is a big deal. People have time off, so the year hits the glut where studios release a hundred different Christmas movies, developers debut the games of the season and so on. Everyone is trying to get a bit of that holiday cash, and rightly so. It's the one time of the year where everybody's consumption habits are up across the board.

Ohio vs. Temple game time changed.

Ohio's regular season finale against Temple has been moved from 2 p.m. to 11 a.m and will be televised on ESPNU, said assistant athletics director for media relations Jason Corriher.

Music therapy relieves O'Bleness patients

Yesterday afternoon, 16-year-old Elizabeth, an Alexander High School student staying at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital after her recent appendix surgery, hosted a visitor equipped with a guitar, tambourine and lollipop-shaped drum.
